Shot on Edisto Beach in November 2009, I was amazed at the variety of shells which were washed into this pile. Even more amazing is that no one had taken them home.

Beachside at Edisto
Another of my favorites from morning at Edisto Beach with the erosion fences on the shore.
Edisto Beach, South Carolina offers great chances for vacationing with house rentals and also several resorts in the area.

seashells
I took this at Edisto Island back in late 2009. I was amazed when I got there that morning at the amount of seashells which were lying on the beach and even more at the variety.

some boardwalk shadows
I liked the contrast between the diagonal shadows and the boards in this photo.
It didn't look good at normal height so I lowered the camera and was much happier with the result.
This was another case too where I preferred the Black & White shot to the color shot. Since I was focusing on angles and contrasts it seemed to work better.

Heron - Edisto Memorial Gardens #photo
The heron was not impressed by my attempts to photograph it, and finally decided the best course of attaction was just to ignore me.
